Halloween started with our pumpkin carving - yes, very last minute, but we still got it done! Actually, Bo got it done. The girls did some scooping, but then Bo carved the Cinderella. I love these adorable Kelly's Kids outfits I bought the girls for the fall and I never got a cute picture of them, so I snapped a few.
After we got our Mary Poppins costumes on we headed to trick or treat in Mammie's neighborhood. They have a lot more kids than our neighborhood and her church also did a cute Halloween party with games inside. We met up with Brayden, Luke and Andy for some trick or treating too. Mammie loved seeing all of the kids. They were all soooo cute in their Mary Poppins group theme costumes!
Emma and Hannah looooooovvved trick or treating. They had a blast. There was one house that Emma got a little unsure at. They had things hanging from the trees, lights, sounds, etc. The church also had a costume contest, and the girls won!
The best quote of the night was when we were calming down at Mammie's house and the girls were having a few treats. Out of nowhere Emma asks, "mama, is it Christmas time now?" She is so like her mama - move on to the next big thing! I have told her we would take out more Christmas movies and listen to Christmas music after Halloween, so I guess she is ready! We really did have a great night. The weather was perfect and the rain held off to the very end. We got back home around 8:30 and went to a few of our neighbors who were expecting them real fast. What a fun Halloween!
