Thanksgiving Sunday

Sunday, November 18th was a wonderful Thanksgiving Sunday for our family.

At church, Emma's music group, Music Makers sang. They sang the Lord's Prayer and then her chime group played "We are a Family of God" and the parents and families of the kids playing chimes came up and sang with them. It was very cute.
Right after that, Emma was recognized because all 4 year olds were presented Bibles.

After church our Sunday School class had lunch together in the atrium. After lunch we did a mission project with all of our kids. A local pharmacy gave us a whole bunch of their prescription bags and the children decorated the bags. So, when a patient gets their medicine they will see a cute little picture to brighten their day. The kids did a great job.

After getting home the girls had a quick nap and then we were off again to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Boyles. They invited us over with Joey/Dawn and another couple from church. These are the people we see every Wednesday at church and I play bells with. We all have kids around the same ages and we just have a good time together. We had some excellent food, talked and hung out, the kids played wonderfully and then we left around 8:30.
