More Celebrations

Cara's Birthday
The girls had a friend's birthday party. Bo took them while I got my hair done. It was a fairy birthday. They had a great time.

apparently, Emma thought it was quite funny that she beat her little sister playing musical chairs!

woo hoo - blonde again for the summer!

Ms. Cypress Graduates!
My library clerk graduated with her nursing certificate. She invited me to the graduation and I am so glad I was there to see her receive this great accomplishment. Way to go Cypress!!

That same night Bo had the girls - they enjoyed some yummy smores!

Mother's Day

The girls woke me up with the cutest cards and picture of them on Mother's Day morning. Bo had a picture of them enlarged that had a sidewalk chalk stencil. It was very sweet.

The girls and I went to my grandmother's church on Mother's Day. I actually won the "youngest mom" award at her church. They insisted I take the gift - it was $50 to Lowes!!

Afterwards we had lunch at 4H club with Buster, Annette and kids, Mammie, Lindsay and kids, mom and us. I gave mom some new charms and dangles for her Origami Owl necklace.

After lunch Bo and I took the kids to Busch Gardens for a few hours. Emma rode the big "Battering Ram" ride again and for the first time she rode the "Big Swings." She is surely going to be my ride loving girl - just like me. Hannah, believe it or not, is a little more hesitant on rides - completely opposite of their personalities. But, at least I know I have a partner to ride rides with in the future!

funny Uncle Buster
Andy is too cute

Mother's Day Banquet

The girls had a Mother's Day Banquet at their preschool the week of Mother's Day. It was so nice - they sang a song and we had a yummy brunch. They both made me a gift that they did not tell me about all week. I kept teasing them and seeing if they would tell me and neither of them would! They really are keeping secrets now!

Hannah made me a picture frame with her holding an "I Love Mom" banner. Emma made me a picture with crayons and painted flowers - so cute! Love them both!

Emma's teacher was so cute telling me about how Emma had to have her crayons neatly in a row with the "Crayola" writing on the top of the crayon - my little perfectionist!

*I got new glasses - they are Lilly Pulitzer - it was way time for me to have some new decent glasses to wear to work and out in public. I don't think I have had a new pair in almost 10 years. I love them - I guess they are a Mother's Day gift to myself.  :)

Celebrations

Connor's Birthday
Our cousin Connor had his birthday at a skating rink. I was a little apprehensive about the girls skating, but they actually loved it. I could not keep them off the rink. I myself had lots of fun too. I had been forever since I had been skating but I think I did pretty good! We all want to go again! Great party Connor!

Laura's Surprise 30th

My friend Laura from my old school was given a surprise 30th party the same weekend. We used to work together at my old school and she was the friend who had a baby so early and has been through many medical issues. Cooper, her son, is doing just great and it was so good to see them all. Laura is working full time, is a mommy and is on dialysis every night when she sleeps.
miss these two lots!

Pics from Gaga's

Just two cute pics from Gaga's house -

Hannah running around the place half naked when I tried to change her clothes. I kept telling her I was going to take her picture if she didn't get dressed. She kept running around and hiding and then I snapped this before she turned - hence why it is so blurry!

Lucy is growing and will let Emma do anything to her - she rides in shopping carts, strollers and toy cars - she will just sit there. It is so funny.

Fun at Plaza Azteca

April 29th was my friend Maryanne's birthday. There were 18 of us who celebrated with her at a Mexican restaurant - Plaza Azteca that night. We had a great night and the kids got the coolest animal balloons made because it also happened to be kid night - kids eat free.

Cole has a giraffe, Lauren a flower, Emma a butterfly and Hannah a lamby on her wrist

Hannah with her lamby - cutest thing ever!
Maryanne and AJ - she had 35 candles on that one cupcake

New Swingset

So, the surprise in the big box from a few weeks ago was a new swing set for the girls. I will give full credit to Bo for putting it together all by himself - although I did have to entertain the kids and get them out of the house so he could work without them asking him a thousand questions.

There is still landscaping to finish, but it looks great and the girls think it is the best "playground" in the world. They don't call it a swing set, it is their "playground."
