Howl O' Scream

Saturday night Bo and I had a night out!! We went with my cousins to Howl O' Scream at Busch Gardens. It was super crowded but you are always in for some great laughs around these people. I also rode the new ride Mach Tower, which was awe-some!!! We stayed until closing and had a great time despite the very crowded lines.

The Pumpkin Patch!

Saturday morning Bo and I took the girls to a small pumpkin patch in Chesapeake. They loved seeing all of the pumpkins. Then, we took a cute little hayride to a field to get a pumpkin. We let them pick out two small pumpkins to paint at home. They loved it and it was a beautiful day!

NSA Homecoming - October 14, 2011

It is hard to believe that this time last year I was celebrating my 10 year high school reunion. I love going to my high school homecoming because it is always like going back to family. I love socializing with people that I do not get to see that much, but still feel like I know them so well. It is a great time to catch up with people. I also love seeing the girls having fun with the cheerleaders, band and other little friends. Bo was nice enough to put the kids down to bed after the football game and I went out to the after party for awhile.

Peanut Fest Fun!

Oh yes!!! The event that takes place every year in Suffolk is.....Peanut Fest!!! Of course, Hannah could not take advantage of the free peanuts :) We still had lots of fun!

We toured some very nice RV's. My dad said this is how he would travel to Disney. Emma was too funny - buckled herself up and said, "okay, let's go!" She was convinced we were going to Disney right then! I said, "honey we are not going right now." Emma said in a very sassy voice, "why not?" LOL

So, after a very eventful time at peanut fest, we all had dinner with my cousin Robbie and Granny for her birthday. Poor baby Adair was sick so we did not see her and April.

After dinner we had to go to WalMart to get an aquarium, food, pump, cleaner, pebbles and and plant for our new goldfish additions. We did get a pink light for them! They are now in our kitchen!

Princess Dresses

The girls have started getting into to the Disney princess phase since the end of summer. It started with them watching Beauty and the Beast at the beach. Then, they watched Cinderella at Beth's house with her girls. Mrs. Beth even gave Emma the Cinderella dress - so naturally Hannah wanted a Beauty and the Beast dress. Hannah got the Belle and Snow White dress for her birthday. Then, my cousins gave me the Ariel, Sleeping Beauty and Pocahontas dresses because her daughter outgrew them. So, now we have all of the princess dresses. I bought them the movie Cinderella off ebay since it is in the Disney vault right now, so it is not in stores. Hannah also got Beauty and the Beast DVD for her birthday. We already had Snow White and Little Mermaid. We have also began to collect some of the princess characters. They are gradually replacing the Barney and Elmo characters that they play with so much. It is funny how I see their interests change so rapidly. Hannah's 2nd Birthday!

Today is Hannah's real birthday but we celebrated this past Saturday with our family. Hannah's main present from us was her new room but we also gave her some Minnie Mouse accessories (pocket book, glasses, jewelry) and some Beauty and the Beast (her favorite princess) characters. Hannah also got a digital camera, a table and chairs set to match her room, a tea set, DVD's, a Snow White Dress, a Belle Dress, decorative pillow for her new bedding, some outfits, Minnie Mouse winter hat, a dress up Minnie Mouse character, and money/gift cards.

She was pretty hyped up and very into opening her presents by herself. She loved playing with her cousins and Brayden. I think she had a fun time. I just cannot believe she is two! We love you so much Hannah Boo!

Peanut Fest Parade

Saturday morning we went to the Suffolk Peanut Fest parade - a Suffolk tradition. We met up with my mom, sister, bro in law, nephew and some friends of ours with their daughter Allie! It was a very cool, autumn morning and the girls had a blast.
